After playing 6 rapidplay games on Saturday, my decision to return to Olympia the next day and play 6 more in the U-145 rapidplay was not wise. In presenting my catalogue of blunders from this tournament - one from each game; sometimes I had to choose - all I can say is that I shall be glad to get the next post done so I need never look at them again.
In the words of Tartakower, "all the blunders are on the board, just waiting to be made." On the bright side, having got so much catastrophic play out of my system, I managed to avoid defeat in my final 3 games of the calendar year. Perhaps it helps that they are longplay, which is increasingly my forté.
